It was a beautiful day last Thursday morning for the much-awaited groundbreaking for the new Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center in Buda. Crowds of interested folks showed up to witness the event. Among the many people to be thanked for helping with the festivies are: Hole In The Sky for supplying bottled water; Provident Memory Care for the delicious cookies, Buda Chamber of Commerce for the plant; Constable Matt Mancillas and his staff for the barbeque chicken lunch and all the members of the senior center who participated in making it such a wonderful time for all.
