Republican primary candidates in Hays County have scheduled a forum April 29 in Buda – one month to the day before the spring primary elections.
The forum will feature candidates seeking nomination for congressional districts 35 and 21 as well as state Senate District 25, Hays County sheriff and party chairman, and will be moderated by state Rep. Jason Isaac, R-Dripping Springs, who is running unopposed in the May 29 primaries.
Sponsored by the Kyle Buda Republican Group and the Republican Party of Hays County, the forum has been scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 at the Studio Estates clubhouse at 6880 Goforth Road in Buda.
Candidates scheduled to attend:
State Senate District 25: Jeff Wentworth, incumbent; Donna Campbell; and Elizabeth Ames Jones; Congressional District 21: Lamar Smith, incumbent; Richard Mack; and Richard Morgan; Congressional District 35: Susan Narvaiz, Rob Roark and John Yoggerst; Sheriff: Gary Cutler, incumbent, and Tommy Ratliff; Party Chair: Shawn Blakely and John Pacheco.
The Kyle Buda Republican Group is inviting the public to submit questions to the group’s Facebook page by April 25.
