Come downtown for a little culture as poet Gerald Stern reads from his recent works at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 at the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Center in Kyle. Born in Pennsylvania in 1925, Stern’s work has won numerous literary prizes including the National Book Award for his 1998 book “This Time: New and Selected Poems.” (see page 1C for details)
