Hays Bomb Squad blows up competition in international tournament in Orlando, Florida

The Hays Bomb Squad 11-and-under youth baseball team recently won the Rawlings-ESPN International Salute to Baseball tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The Bomb Squad remained undefeated throughout the tournament, beating teams from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Panama, Florida and Tennessee. They have now earned the right to compete in one of the top tournaments in the nation in 2013. The Bomb Squad will participate alongside approximately 100 teams from the United States and Canada at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Cooperstown, New York.
