Guadalupe Trevino, age 67 of Kyle, formerly of Merrillville, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born on December 1, 1945, in Alice, Texas to Praxedis and Emma Trevino.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena; daughters Teri Trevino of Kyle, Rita (Tom) Dannis and Rose (John) Ferguson of Indiana and granddaughters Samantha Dunn and Olivia Dannis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Madison Trevino.
Mr. Trevino retired from Inland Steel Co. in East Chicago with 35 years of service. After his retirement he worked part time for Enterprise Car Rental. He along with his family moved to Texas to escape the cold winters of the north. He became a member of St. Anthony Marie de Claret parish family and volunteered briefly at Hays County Food Bank in San Marcos, before he became yet another victim of cancer.
