Use turn signals

A nice thing happened on the way to HEB in Oak Hill. I live on RR 967, close to RR 1826. The Texas highway department put in left and right turn lanes where these two roads meet.

I was in the right lane and a gentleman came up in the left lane. He nicely did not go up completely to the white stripe, so I could see traffic coming – some to go straight and the others to turn right onto RR 967.

It’s amazing how many cars turning right onto RR 1826 barely stop to make a right turn. Coming up to the “stop” sign, they can easily see traffic to their right. Some cars signal, and some don’t and wait to the last minute to signal.

Hays County deputies and state troopers could make a “killing” at this intersection.
