Tavern on Main, that is the name of the new restaurant that will open soon at 116 Main Street. It was the home of Main Street Café for many years, and more recently, Rollin Hot Grill. The new owners own Nonna Gina’s that is down the street and which will remain open. Watch for the doors to open about the first of April at Tavern on Main with a menu of good food.

B&B Quilting will soon be constructing a new facility for all you quilters that love to shop with them. The two-story building will be located on Loop Street in Buda.

Come downtown Buda Thursday, March 1, for the monthly “First Thursday” event. Shop, eat and enjoy the evening and help out the local merchants.

The Buda Elementary School PTA annual carnival is Saturday, March 3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Stop by for a fun-filled time.

The Buda seniors need your support. Come to the auction and lunch at Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center on Thursday, March 8. The auction starts at 10:30 a.m. with a beef and chicken fajita lunch at 12:15 p.m. Cost of the lunch is $8. All proceeds benefit the senior center building fund. The center is located at 401 Barton’s Crossing, behind the JP’s office. If you need additional information, call 468-4451.
