It’s Camp Ben McCulloch Reunion time. The 116th annual reunion gets underway Friday, June 15 in Driftwood. As always there will be music, food, bingo, carnival rides and lots of visiting with old friends. The 67th annual Dayton Roberts Memorial Fiddle contest will be Friday, June 22, starting at 3:30 p.m. under the tabernacle at Camp Ben. For a complete schedule, visit www.campben.com.

There is still time to enter the Texas Hold’em poker tournament sponsored by the Buda Lions Club. The tournament will be Sunday, June 24, with check-in at 2 p.m. and play starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center at 401 Barton’s Crossing in Buda. The first place winner will receive a $250 gift certificate. Many other prizes will be given away including prizes for all eight players at the last table. There will also be good food and drinks.

The free Friday night movie will be “Dolphin Tale” rated PG, starting at 9 p.m. at Buda City Park. Bring your lawn chair, blanket, cooler and snacks and enjoy the movie under the stars.
