Sutherland Springs mass shooting hero Stephen Willeford will make a rare appearance in Dripping Springs at 4 p.m. today at EVO Cinemas-Belterra Village. He will also do a Q&A after the 7 p.m. show which ends around 8:30 p.m. tonight.The documentary "Miracle on 4th Street" examines the Sutherland Springs mass shooting – the largest in Texas history. The screening of the movie continues through March 4. The movie will be shown at the EVO in Kyle Feb. 26 through March 4 as well.
The shooting occurred Nov. 5, 2017. It is the deadliest massacre to happen in a place of worship in the United States, where 26 people were murdered and 20 others wounded.
"Miracle on 34th Street" is a documentary that gives a voice to the victims, and shines a light on the miraculous stories of the survivors, without mentioning the name of the shooter.
Partial proceeds from the box office will be donated to the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.
