The Hays High School Art Club, coordinated by Starr Cruz, recently completed and mounted a mural in the main building of the school. The mural features HHS colors, the 1968 founding date, and an image of school namesake Jack C. Hays. Seniors Mark Oldham and Parker Thornton created the original design. The Art Club members put in many hours to enlarge the design and create the multi-paneled mural now hanging near one of the main stairwells.
