Oliver “Jack” Bailey, 83 of Brodie Ranch Nursing Facility passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012. Jack was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ in Buda, Texas. He was born in Cass County, Texas on September 27, 1928 to Raymond and Ellen Bailey and was retired from the oil and gas industry. Jack’s life will be honored in a memorial service on July 28, at Southern Hills Church of Christ in Buda at 10 a.m.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ellene Crow Bailey of Austin. He was preceded in death by sister, Sara Hughes. Survived by brother, Robert Bailey and family, sister, Flora Chissum, sons: Jack L. Bailey and family, Jim Bailey and family, and Michael Whiteley and family, also, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
