One of Buda’s newest businesses celebrated its grand opening Saturday. Tractor Supply Co. store manager Mark Anderson cut the ribbon at the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce event, which featured a welding demonstration, BB gun shooting range, knife sharpener, pet adoption and a visit from the local 4-H group.
The Buda location is Tractor Supply Company’s 131st store in Texas and employs 14 team members. The facility has 19,100 square feet, including sales floor and support service space.
Founded in 1938 as a mail-order tractor parts business, the Brentwood, Tenn.-based company is the largest retail farm and ranch store chain in America. It owns and operates 1,100 stores.
