Hays County Sheriff’s Office Junior Deputy Academy
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office Junior Deputy Academy takes place again this summer. Students age 8 to 10 will learn about patrol, SWAT, crisis negotiation team, gang awareness, criminal investigations, community outreach and the K9 unit; along with the fire and emergency medical services. One day of each camp will be spent at the Hays County Sheriff’s Office. The children will also meet with Sheriff Gary Cutler and take a group photo. The JDA is scheduled for 8 a.m.-5 p.m. June 12 -14 at Wallace Middle School in Kyle, and July 10-12 at Wimberley Community Center. The Junior Deputy Academy is free of charge. Hays CISD offers online registration
Hays CISD will again offer its Online Registration system for returning students for the 2012-13 school year. Beginning July 1, parents can go online at www.hayscisd.net/StudentRegistration and click on the Online Registration link.
