Elm Grove Elementary Dads Club sponsored “Go Fishing – A Learn to Fish Event,” which took place Saturday, April 14 at Bradfield Lake Park in Buda. Approximately 100 students and parents learned the basics of fishing through hands-on activities. Volunteers from Texas Parks and Wildlife and professional angler Cody Ryan Greaney shared their expertise. Wyatt Dees (left) a second grader at Elm Grove Elementary, took the trophy for biggest fish with a 14.875” bass, and Nicholas Gianotti, took the prize for smallest with a 2.5” perch.
