On February 7, more than 75 Chapa Middle School girls, current students as well as Cougars from years past, hosted more than 60 adults at the 6th annual Girls’ Night Out celebration. Getting into the spirit of the occasion (l-r) 6th grader Cristina Tovar, Teacher Adrianna Reyna, 6th grader Juliana Rodriguez, stylist/8th grader Gabby Moreno and 7th grader Skyler McMakin treated each other to a bit of pampering. This year’s event raised over $60 and 65 cans of food for the Hays County Food Bank. Especially popular this year were new activities, knitting and duct tape crafts.
