Miller, an experienced Certified Organic grower for 23 years who has never pumped any aquifer water, will have a presentation concerning water usage in vegetable and fruit tree gardens at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 7 at Millberg Farm. Miller will discuss planting concepts, bed preparation, rainwater collection, the benefit of weeds as cover crops, furrows and dikes, drip irrigation and heirloom crops versus hybrids.
