I have known Robert Limon since 1993, first as a fellow employee and later as my friend.
I have seen his commitment to family, friends, and his community first hand. When his kids started school and he learned the importance of parental involvement in education, he helped form the first PTAs at Tom Green Elementary and Barton Middle School. He didn’t just volunteer, he stepped forward and chose to lead the organizations as president. I’ve seen firsthand that he didn’t hesitate to volunteer in different causes in his community, always giving 100 percent effort.
He is someone who stands by his convictions and is not afraid to ask the tough questions whether it be popular or not.
Robert and his wife moved to Buda from Austin because they wanted a quality education for their kids. He tells me that he has never regretted that decision.
With his extensive work history and education, and knowledge of the schools through his volunteerism, he is ready to hit the ground running to work and make the district all that it can be for the children that it serves.
As a taxpayer and father of two small children, I have the utmost confidence that he would be a great school board member. Robert has my support for Hays CISD School Board, District 3.
