Stella Engelke, age 100, of Austin passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was the daughter of Emil and Emilia Grobowsky of Niederwald, born June 30, 1911. On June 21, 1933 she married Gus Engelke. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and one grandson.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Reinhardt and Carole Wright; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Redeeming Grace Lutheran Church in Manchaca with Pastor Steven Fick and Pastor Walter Harms officiating.
