Time change, weather still warm and deer hunting season opened! Is it really fall?
Also more reports of rattlesnakes being killed. Even though no adult snakes have been sighted or killed, reports of five small ones, 12 inches to six with two or more buttons, have been killed. One in my backyard, found under a trash can by Amos who was mowing. So be careful.

The warm weather did not hinder the deer hunt. Cooper Moore and Logan Crowell each got eight-point bucks. I am sure more were lucky on their hunt.

Good to see Ed Daugherty in church Sunday morning. Please keep him in your prayers, as well as Debbie Sorrells and Mike Cowan.

The ladies of St. John Women’s Guild of Uhland are reminded of the monthly meeting to be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 10. Bring a dish of your desire to share.

The Men’s Fellowship of St. John also meets on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. I understand they have some good cooks who fix delicious breakfasts. There are usually some chores to perform. Bring a friend.
