Two local students were among those who received post-season soccer honors at San Marcos Academy recently. Junior Cole Williams, left, of Kyle was a TAPPS Academic All-State selection and was named Honorable Mention All-State as a forward for Division III. He also received First Team, All-District honors for TAPPS Division 3-District 3. Richard Smith, right, a senior defender from Kyle, was a Second Team All-District pick for the SMA Bears. The Bears are coached by Scott Moore, center, also of Kyle.
