If you are reading this early, you just might have time to run over to the Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center in Buda for the auction and lunch on Thursday, March 8. The auction starts at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 12:15 p.m. All proceeds benefit the building fund for the senior center.

As of this past Monday, Rollin’ Hot Grill is back in business inside the Painted Horse Pavilion on FM 1626. Lori Lowden will cook up hamburgers and barbeque Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.

An engineering firm will soon occupy the brick building in downtown Buda that was the former location of the Buda post office.

All that dirt work around Buda Elementary School is not a middle campus between upper and lower, it is a new “lift station.”
Long-time gardener Billy Gray will present the basics of how to successfully grow your own food at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the Buda library.
