One-on-one business advice offered in Kyle, Buda

An adviser from the Small Business Development Center at Texas State University is scheduling free one-on-one consultations with businesspeople in Kyle and Buda.


Certified adviser Ray Mason will offer confidential counseling services for small-business owners and people who are looking to open a new business. He can answer questions about marketing, business plans, product development, tax or financial assistance, capitalizing on social media and other topics.


In Kyle, the consultations will be held the first Wednesday of each month. Call the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce at 512-268-4220 to set up an appointment.


In Buda, the consultations will be held the third Wednesday of the month beginning April 18 at First State Bank, at 1115 Main St. To schedule an appointment, call the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce at 512-295-9999.
