Being Simply Charming takes Strategic Leadership

by RAY HERNANDEZ

Your Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce continues to provide great speakers whose specialties directly focus on the business community. This month Texas Old Town and the Winfield Inn are partnering to create a top-notch luncheon for all segments of the business community. Attendees will get to see firsthand the incredible facilities at Texas Old Town and enjoy a delightful epicurean meal. Our presenter will be Dennis Rose, MBA, ABCP. He will present "Strategic Leadership: Formulating a Strategy to be Competitive and Increase Performance."

At an early age of 15, Rose learned that hard work, dedication and commitment can make a world of difference in someone’s life. Always working two or three jobs at a time, Rose lives by the following: Sow an action, reap a habit. sow a habit, reap character, sow character, reap a destiny.

Over the past 35 years, Rose has worked in the following industries: retail, construction, handyman, insurance, water, healthcare, telecommunications, education, leadership and as a Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) Consultant. He has started several businesses throughout his career: Offering handyman services to a condominium association, providing information and researching services for the healthcare industry, and currently provides strategic management consulting and speaking engagements throughout Central Texas and the U.S. His recent speaking engagements include "Leadership In Crisis" – National Telecommunications Cooperative Association, Boca Raton, FL; "When Disaster Strikes"-NTCA, San Diego, CA and "Strategic Planning Using Case Development" - Global

Educational Company, Austin, .TX

Why do some companies outperform their competitors while others file for bankruptcy? Strategic leadership, the competitive advantage, is crucial to implement and manage in order to maneuver your adaptive organization through these turbulent economic times.  Having an aligned strategy at all levels of the organization ensures that competitive advantage can take root and grow throughout your organization. During this session you’ll learn how to develop a strategy for your organization.
