Regular lunch prices to increase 10 cents
Regular lunch prices for students at all Hays CISD campuses will increase in 2012-2013 to comply with the federal Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The pricing formula requires Hays CISD to raise its lunch prices by 10 cents to $2.10 for elementary students and $2.30 for middle and high school students. All other prices will stay the same. Students who pay regular lunch prices everyday can expect an increase of about $2 per month or $17.50 per school year.
