The Dahlstrom Middle School bands finished off the school year with a dramatic flourish, attending the Texas Music Festival in Austin and sweeping their way to a slew of honors and the trophies that went with those honors. The Mustang Wind Ensemble claimed trophies for First Division, Best in Class, and the festival’s First Grand Champion. The Symphonic Band claimed First Division and Best in Class trophies and the Beginner Band took First Division and a trophy as Third Grand Champion.
