Need to protect the trees

Since 2000 I have repeatedly asked for the City of Kyle to create a tree ordinance with substance to protect the Heritage Oaks in the area. At both Master Plans they were talked about. When the city put in the well-needed Dacy Bridge the city cut down the biggest tree in Central Texas. Residents on Opal Lane have Heritage Oaks and their plan for a 5 lane highway is something we all have never wanted. To purposefully ruin a neighborhood for residents not even here for the exploitation of another large landowner is not in my interest. To the many citizens who have complained to our city it is time for action for a tree ordinance to be created so that more Heritage Oaks are not consumed by the urban sprawl and road campaign. If people are interested in helping to create a tree ordinance please contact me a [email protected].
