Claudia McComack, the owner of Cake Dreams in Kyle designed, baked and decorated a scaly, blue dragon cake to enter in the “That Takes the Cake” Sugar Art Show and Cake Competition last month in Austin. She selected a dragon based on the contest’s theme: “Cake a Lot, Knights of the Turn Table.” The creation took about 20 hours. McComack opened her dream bakery four months ago.
