Hays High School junior Addie Vayas has had an adventurous summer, helping her team qualify for the Premier Girls Fastpitch National Championship in the 16-and-under division. The Austin Storm came thundering back out of the loser’s bracket to qualify for the National Championships in Huntington Beach, California July 29-August 4. The tournament is filled up with 50 of the top-ranked teams in the division nationally, and coaches from the best collegiate softball teams in the country will be in attendance.
