A groundbreaking ceremony for FM 1626 North improvements is set for 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24 at 310 Sportsplex Drive in Buda.
Precinct 2 Commissioner Mark Jones, other area elected officials, and TxDOT representatives will be on hand for the ceremony. Part of the voter-approved 2008 Road Bond Pass-Through Projects, the safety and mobility improvements to the northern section of FM 1626 between FM 967 in Hays County to south of Brodie Lane (in Travis County) are beginning.
