After recent rains, fewer drought restrictions could be in store for the Kyle-Buda area.
The board of directors for the Barton Springs/Edwards Aquifer Conservation District is set to discuss whether to declare a less severe drought stage, from Stage III to Stage II, at its meeting today.
That decision could trigger decisions by other water providers to also lessen drought restrictions, which determine when residents may water their lawns, among other conservation measures.
The board is scheduled to meet at the district office at 1124 Regal Row in Austin. Click here for the agenda packet.
