Walter Selman, 68, of Wimberley passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. He was born June 12, 1943. Walter was a graduate of Buda High School. He was an electrician with Austin Independent School District from which he retired.
He was preceded in death by sisters Roxie Selman, Eugenia Dahlin and Mary Ruth Donsbach. Survivors are his daughter, Kim Hunt, of Wimberley and son, Scott and his wife Rebecca of Austin, grandchildren Jacob and Kaylyn Hunt and Audrey and Henry Selman. Other survivors are a sister, Beryl Sue Odell of Kerrville, brothers, Gary of Kerrville, Paul of Elk City, ID and Bartlett and his wife, Margaret, of Austin.
Walter was a very kind and gentle man. He loved and cared about his family and friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Bartec and the staff of South Austin Hospital for the excellent care shown to our family.
There will be a remembrance gathering at 2 p.m. for family and friends Sunday, February 26, at Old Glory Ranch, 3633 River Road, Wimberley. Please pass this info along.
