The Grapes of Wrath
Take a Sunday drive on Saturday and head west, young man, all the way to Stonewall. The LBJ Ranch summer movie series kicks off on June 2 at 8:30 p.m. with a showing of “The Grapes of Wrath” starring Henry Fonda. The movie will be projected onto an 18x25 ft. outdoor screen next to the hangar, so bring your chairs or blanket and kick back with a classic. LBJ Ranch, Stonewall.
Public Meetings
Now that the election is over it’s time to buckle down and get back to the business of making this a cool place to call home. Kyle swore in two new council members last night who will be taking their seats on the dais at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Buda City Council also meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Buda City Hall with the County Commissioners meeting at 9 a.m. each Tuesday at the courthouse. Get away from the traffic and noise of town and head out to Three Dudes Winery Friday from 6-8 p.m. The Dudes are hosting live music on the deck above the river and will be serving wine by the glass or the bottle as well as their famous Cool Dudes (wine-a-ritas). 125 Old Martindale Road, San Marcos
