Business Expo comes to PAC
The North Hays County Business Expo will be held from 3-7 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in Kyle.

The expo is put on by the Kyle and Buda chambers of commerce. The event will host an estimated 70 business vendors. Attendees can meet and learn about local businesses.  Select businesses will be accepting resumes for open positions. This free  event will have complimentary food, live entertainment and door prizes as well as various networking opportunities with businesses from the area.

Panhandler’s becomes Ilario’s
Panhandler’s Pizza at Kyle Parkway is no longer serving a buffet and the business is changing its name. The pizza place has become Ilario’s Italian Restaurant focusing on pasta dishes made “your way.”

“You pick a pasta and the chef sautés it to order,” said Ilario’s Assistant Manager Chastity Parsons. “We’ve also added New York-style hand-tossed pizza to our menu.”

The restaurant still serves subs and salads, Parsons said.

A new sign with the company’s name change will be installed soon, she said, pending their landlord’s approval.

Candidate Forum comes to Buda City Hall
The Buda Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend a city council Candidate Forum to be held at City Hall Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15.
