New GED requirements starting in January 2014|
Starting in January 2014, new GED testing requirements will be implemented in Texas. All tests will be computer-based and will be more rigorous. For those already enrolled in a GED program, if all five tests are not completed by December 31, 2013, the new requirements will render any current tests null, and the enrollee will be required to start over with the new standards and testing method. Visit www.gedtestingservice.com to learn more about the new requirements. The Kyle Learning Center reports there are hundreds of Hays County residents on file, with at least one test already completed. Contact the Kyle Learning Center for more information at (512) 268-2719.
