The Live Oak Academy Senior Dinner, held on May 25 at Grin’s Restaurant in San Marcos, was an opportunity for this year’s graduating class to gather one last time with their teachers, school staff and each other.
Staff handed out tongue-in-cheek awards to seniors for categories like the Twinkle Toes award (best shoes) and Better Late Than Never (most tardies).
Students voted on the more traditional awards for each other. And the awards go to: Mr. and Miss Academy, Joel Garcia and Victoria Gutierrez; Best Smiles, Nicholas Hernandez and Payton Hall; Class Clowns, Richard Rominger and Samantha Knight; Cutest Best Friends, Cassidy Cole and Laurea Quiroga; Best Dressed, Zachary Pavia and Amanda Echavarria; Most Likely to Succeed, Cassidy Cole and Jose Santiago; and Worst Case of Senioritis, Amanda Echavarria and Ryan Brown.
