Middle School Science Fair Feb. 9
Hays CISD middle schools will participate in a district-wide Science Fair at the Performing Arts Center Thursday. Last year’s “Best of Show” honors went to Dahlstrom Middle School eighth-grader Sean Farrell for his project, “Wind vs. Solar,” entered in the Engineering category.
Poet Richard Siken Feb. 10
The award-winning writer will read from his latest work, “Crush,” at the Katherine Anne Porter House in Kyle. This literary performance is not for children or the faint of heart.
Beekeeping Seminar Feb. 12
