Parents Chris and Jana Owen, left, of Buda, and Gayle and Troy Wismar of Kyle were commiserating on Monday, or celebrating depending on how you look at it, at the Boo Hoo Breakfast. Each couple has a child, or twins in the case of the Owens family, starting kindergarten at Carpenter Hill Elementary this year. The school’s PTA puts on the Boo Hoo event to help those parents who need a moment to let the tears out before leaving the building.
