Regular Board of Trustees meetings scheduled for 2012-2013
The Hays Consolidated Independent School District (Hays CISD) Board of Trustees holds regular monthly meetings open to the public. Meetings in Aug.-Dec. are held at Hays High School. Meetings in Jan.-June are held at Lehman High School. All board meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted by district officials.

Break a leg
Hays CISD is holding open auditions for its upcoming productions, “Night Before Christmas” and “Legally Blonde.” Both shows will be held at the Performing Arts Center in Kyle.
A list of auditions for upcoming performances at the Hays CISD PAC are below; note, the auditions also take place at the PAC.
“Night Before Christmas”
Open Auditions: 4-9 p.m. Sept. 6
Auditions for “Night Before Christmas” are open to everyone from our community and beyond, ages 10 and up. We are looking for a wide variety of talent including dancers, singers, musicians and actors.
Performance: Dec. 22, 2012, at the PAC.
“Legally Blond”: this year’s annual district musical
Auditions: 4-8 p.m. Sept. 18, 2012, at the PAC.
The auditions for “Legally Blonde” are open to Hays CISD high school students and school district employees only.
Performances: Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2013, at the PAC.
Family game night
Not your garden-variety board-game kind of night (though that can be fun, too). This all new free event, sponsored by the Hays CISD Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), is a great way to get your family out and moving and learning together. The event will feature Zumba lessons, cooking demonstrations, martial arts, games and more. Family Game Night is from 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 6 at Simon Middle School.
