Universal Class is a service that provides online, self-paced continuing education classes in a wide range of fields, including the arts, parenting, accounting, GED preparation and many, many more. These classes are available from any computer and can be started and worked on at any time. There’s even a real, live teacher assigned to you when you sign up for a class. With more than 500 classes available, there is sure to be something in our Universal Classes that appeals to you!
The Texas State Library and Archives Commission has purchased a subscription to Learning Express, an online service with a multitude of practice tests in various fields, including citizenship exams, college preparation exams and others. The library also subscribed to the “Job and Career Accelerator” program from Learning Express, which will help you through the complete job-search process, from resume writing to job-searching to interviewing.
Get ready for the SAT, PSAT and ACT with ePrep! ePrep gives you the chance to take practice tests and watch videos that help you brush up on any areas that you need some extra help mastering. Because it adapts to you, it’s like having a private tutor at your side every step of the way. ePrep’s goal is to help you increase your test scores and become a more successful student.
These classes are completely free to anyone with a Buda Public Library card and are available anytime, from any computer connected to the internet.
