Doris Ann Hagedorn, 74, of Lakeway, passed away on November 17, 2012, from complications of a multi-year battle with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Doris was born on February 1, 1938, in Uhland to Margaret (Weisser) and Eugene Wranitzky. She attended grade school in Uhland and graduated from high school in Kyle. Doris graduated from Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos, with a degree in Home Economics. She was both an expert seamstress and cook and these talents were enjoyed by her many friends and family. She was also an avid water skier and spent many summers teaching many youngsters how to ski. Doris married Alton Robert Hagedorn on August 22, 1959.
She is survived by Alton and their children Karen Denise Hagedorn and Deanna Lynn Kanady and husband, Mark. She is also survived by her sisters Olga Jean Collier of Uhland and Mary Louise Anderson and husband, Johnny of Lakeway. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Margaret Wranitzky. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to the Weisser Scholarship Fund at the University of Texas at Austin.
