Ready for the freshest, highest quality, most nutritious and reasonably priced local produce and goods? The Buda Farmers Market will have all that this Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. until noon. The new location for the market is in the parking lot between City Hall and the water tower at RR 967 and Main Street. JC George and his band will be providing the entertainment. The market will be open every Saturday through October.

The class of 1962 will be gathering for a 50-year reunion on Friday, April 13. The group will meet at 4 p.m. in Austin at El Gallo Restaurant on South Congress. Coming up on Saturday, April 14 is the annual Buda High Forever Reunion at the “old” Buda High School. The doors swing open at 9:30 a.m. A beautiful quilt, which was made by Connie (Conner) Armbruster, Annette (Dennis) Chambers-Rodriguez, Janet (Rylander) Cauthen, JoAnn (Dodgen) Thames and Karry (Thompson) Matson, will be raffled. Tickets are $2 each or six for $10. All proceeds from the raffle sale will benefit the reunion fund. There will also be a silent auction, barbecue lunch catered by Wilhite of Creedmoor, followed by a program in which the classes of 1932, 1942, 1952 and 1962 will be honored. Hope all you Bulldogs are making plans to be there.

On Saturday, March 3l at 2 p.m., master gardeners will be on hand at the Buda Public Library to share advantages of using plants native to this area in landscaping. There will also be refreshments and native plant sharing.
