The Buda and Kyle fire departments will meet in a head-to-head cooking challenge at high noon Sunday, May 27 at the H-E-B Plus in Kyle. Each team will have three firefighters (two cooks and a runner) and will compete in three 45-minute rounds. Three judges will critique on presentation, taste and creativity, then decide which team has to “chop” a member. The team with members still standing wins.
