The Kyle Area Chamber office is buzzing with two of the year’s largest events on the horizon. The 2012 Kyle Annual Classic is quickly approaching, and the North Hays County Business Expo booth assignment is in full swing.
The Kyle Classic has become a staple for the chamber and looks to bring in not only local businesses but also golfers from around the state. The two-day event will start at 6 p.m. on Sept. 13. Teams can enjoy a great meal and entertainment and participate in both live and silent auctions. Included in your sponsorship investment are tournament swag package, tournament polo, admission to Calcutta with complimentary dinner and beverages for you and a guest as well as team and individual prizes. The tournament begins the next morning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. followed by a catered lunch and awards. As a bonus, throughout the tournament, Jose “Pepe” Zevada of Z Tequila, will be showcasing his signature tequila (Pepe Z Tequila) which is distributed from right here in Kyle. The second event the chamber is cooking up for the community is the North Hays County Business Expo to be held at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in Kyle from 3 to 7 p.m., on Oct. 4. Brought to you by both the Kyle and Buda chambers of commerce, the event will host an estimated 70 business vendors for attendees to meet and learn about all they can offer local residents as well as business to business partners. Select businesses will be accepting resumes for open positions. Be sure to mark your calendars for the jungle-themed event and have your resumes ready to drop off. This free event will have complimentary food, live entertainment and door prizes for you to enjoy as well as various networking opportunities with businesses from the area. We will give away thousands in prizes, and one person will walk away with $250 in H-E-B gift cards.
