Blanco Vista Elementary teacher Isabel Hernandez sheds grateful tears as she accepts a $500 grant from the Hays CISD Education Foundation. Members Karyna Odom, Shonda Elizalde and Cari Ledesma watch as Hernandez receives the money and flowers. Foundation members traveled around the district last Friday handing out awards to recipients.
