Lehman High School sophomore photographer Ian McGrath will have two of his images exhibited through mid-January at the 12th annual Hill Country Art Survey on the campus of Schreiner University in Kerrville. LHS art teacher Debra Flynn said the judges had difficulty narrowing their selection down to just two of Ian’s works. More than 400 entries were received, 70 of those chosen for the show. Flynn describes Ian’s work as “from a traditional style” and says he is a purist, whose work is “impressive.” In final judging, announced at Schreiner University, Ian’s work received third place and a cash prize.
