The statement that ‘only six cases of voter fraud in Texas over the last decade’ is very deceptive. These cases (convictions) were for individuals or organizations like ACORN that were proved to have recruited many ineligible people or forged fictitious names on voter registration forms. The actual number of illegal voters registered could be in the hundreds. Individuals illegally registered were not charged. - In Florida, an initial search turned up as many as 182,000 registered voters who may not be U.S. citizens and over 9,000 dead people are recorded as voting in the 2008 election. - In Wisconsin, the petition by the Democrat led & funded unions to recall the Republican Governor contained thousands of false names; like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mary Tylor Moore, Goofy Dog, Ben Franklin, etc.; but the Democrat Attorney General said she did not have time to review the petitions to disqualify invalid names even though the June 4 election was months away. Presenting ID to vote is necessary, easy, and inexpensive as provision is made by law to help obtain free ID documents.
