The massive Cabela’s Outfitters retail store on Interstate 35 in Buda has been named the company’s store of the year out of the 36 Cabela’s locations in the United States and Canada. The award was judged on customer service, employee engagement and financial metrics.
The Buda Cabela’s opened in May 2005. Cabela’s Inc., headquartered in Sidney, Nebraska, is the world’s largest direct marketer of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor merchandise.
