Jeanne (Waddingham) Pillar, 67, of Kyle, died peacefully at Seton Medical Center in Austin, on Friday, November 2, 2012, with her family by her side. She was formerly of Midland, PA.
Born on April 20, 1945 to John and Dorothy (Rambo) Waddingham in Rochester, PA, she was a 1963 graduate of Midland Lincoln High School, attended Lewis, Weinberger, and Hill Cosmetology School, and retired from Webster Bank in Cheshire, CT in 2008. Her endless acts of generosity and unselfishness showed daily in her life. She enjoyed flower gardening, fishing vacations to Maine, and celebrating holidays at her home with those closest to her. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Jeanne will be sadly and greatly missed by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert, her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Sebastian Giuliano of Middlefield, CT, her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Tracy Pillar of Austin, and two grandchildren, Riley and Jack Pillar. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy, two brothers, Robert and Mark (Sandy) Waddingham, all of Georgetown, a sister-in-law, Penny Waddingham of Holiday, FL, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and very close, special friends, Jo-Jo and Don Knight of Industry, and her dachshund, Fritzy.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, her father, John, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Julie (Cerasi) Pillar, and a sister and brother, Judy and John Waddingham.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 3-7 p.m. at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home in Midland, TX. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Roman Catholic Church, Midland. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
