Beverly Mae Parker, 71, of Kyle, formerly of Round Rock and Georgetown, was born in Dundee, Iowa on March 27, 1940. She left for her heavenly home on Feb. 7, 2012 to meet and greet her family and friends. The family in heaven she will hug and kiss for us is her dad and mom Dennis and Iva Lamphier; brother Gilbert Lamphier; sister Loretta Felder; spouse of many years George Parker; her son Russell Parker; and her grandchildren Adam and Andy Nelson.
She retired from Seton Medical Center in Austin as Quality Assurance and loved everything about that job and the people she worked with, like Valerie and Pat. What she loved about life was being with her friends, playing with her great grandbabies Ryan, Kayla, Shana, Melody and Trinity, watching wrestling and game shows, angels, pets, and the slots. Family meant the world to her and she made sure we were by her side every minute.
She is survived by her daughter Sherrie and husband Carl Nelson Jr. of Kyle; son Douglas and wife Carol of Kyle; grandchildren Michael and wife Stephanie Nelson of Kyle; Nicholas and wife Tannis Nelson presently stationed in North Carolina; Lisa Parker of Kyle; and five great grandchildren Ryan, Kayla, Shana, Melody and Trinity Nelson; and niece Denise Jensen and Iowa family.
Since she was the cornerstone of our family, she will be missed and loved forever!
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 13 at Beck Funeral Home in Austin followed by burial at Merrilltown Cemetery, Austin.
