Velia Garcia-Rios, 63, of Buda died Wednesday, June 8, at Seton Medical Center.
Born in San Buenaventura, Coahuila, Mexico on November 16, 1947, to Martin and Carolina Rios, Velia was a delight to everyone who knew her. A woman of faith, she loved to sing praises to her savior, Jesus Christ. She was a living testimony to what the power of Christ can do in our lives and she was an encouragement to those who needed to see and feel that power. Her battle with cancer was just one part of an amazing testimony to her faith and strength.
